araya:
The strange within you: your light
Called upon to envision “the strange”, many people see before their inner eye archetypal images of something threatening – a mixture of fantasy and the outside world.
But if, after first images of fear – shaped by pressure and limiting beliefs – I allow stillness, a new quality of the strange appears in me: the strange that makes up the core of my soul, my most deeply own radiance, which carries me and connects me with universal being.

In araya I turn my gaze to the strange within, following the path from an initially tense restlessness to that special gift of inner light. May the sound and image composition araya accompany the listener and viewer on their own path of opening to their own radiance.
The Video Visiography araya was first performed as my contribution to the exhibition “Das Fremde” – August 2014 at the Kunsthaus Rheinlicht, Remagen.
