Meditative Klangimpulse
The path to being one in the moment leads via stations of silence. In each such moment, indwelling dimensions give rise to resonances in the one meditating, which mirror his own inner worlds to him. They sound forth, glide floating past and immerse themselves in the web of an all-encompassing wholeness.
Intercultural Elements
Structures of such processes are found in the mystical knowledge of different cultures, each in its own form. In “Spuren des Jetzt” I compose drawing on meditative Far Eastern gestures, integrating them with spiritual elements of the West.
Overcoming What Divides
The integration of culturally different forms creates enrichment: both for the one integrating and for the cultural elements, which in the new context show themselves beyond their original dimensions.
Potential criticism as “cultural appropriation” ignores how, in the tangible quality of archetypal connections, what divides is overcome and it becomes possible to accept impulses from different worlds gratefully and with appreciation.
