Extraordinary external conditions offer the chance to recognize attitudes and patterns of behavior, to reflect on them and to correct them.
How far do I remain true to myself, do I know my visions, do I follow them? Do I allow myself to experience the power of my inner wealth and to unfold my potentials?
Or do I let myself be pushed by demands, beliefs, taboos into an illusory world in which blinded, driven functioning takes on a life of its own and so cuts me off from my self...
The poem “Sei” moves as text over the image and barcode layers
Imagery and sound worlds interpret the spheres of my embedded poem. The image metaphors of the first part translate elements of the world of suggestion, refracted in contrasting music, while in the second part space opens up for transforming: toward one’s very own “Being Wholly There”.

Genesis
This sound and image composition came into being over years in several stages.. The final version now published (in June 2020) intervenes, under the impression of the Corona crisis, above all in the sound world, condensing it. It builds on the fundamental new conception of 2018.
Under the name “New World”, the preliminary version, dedicated at the time to Lu, was created in 2013/2014 - with different music, which put the focus on the 1st part of the composition in its apparent hopelessness.
Parts of the present music go back to a composition from 2009. Raw material for the image layer was already created in 2011.
